From when you collect or receive the purchased products, your point of reference will always be the closest Calligaris store indicated in the order summary. Address, phone number and email are specified on the order confimation. You can also ask them to the e-Shop Customer Care.

Please ask for updated information regarding the delivery of the purchased products directly to the Retail Store.

For privacy protection, Calligaris does not have any information regarding the final receiver of the goods that are distributed through the Retail Stores.

At the moment of purchase, you receive an estimated time, needed for goods readiness.

When the goods are loaded from our warehouse, you will receive an email confirming the shipment.

In case you have purchased goods with delivery and assembly service included, please check that everything is fine while the people in charge for assembly are still with you.

If you have purchased a product featuring a mechanism, ask the people in charge to show you how it works. Try the mechanism yourself with the assembly operator’s help.

Make sure that you receive the assembly instructions and please read them carefully before starting using the product. Finally, keep all received documents for possible future needs

Please follow the below instructions and you will be able to assemble the product in a short time and with the best results.

- In some cases you may need a second person’s help.

- If the box is big and/or heavy, you should place it as close as possible to where the product will be located.

- Open the box carefully and avoid using cutters or other sharp tools.

- Before you start assembly operations, make sure the floor is protected with a blanket or cardboard.

- Verify to have received a complete box including all product elements, assembly instructions and, when provided, the set of fixing elements. If you cannot find them, maybe they are still in the packaging material.

- Make sure you have all necessary tools to complete the assembly, if they are not included in the received set.

- Proceed with the assembly operations and strictly follow the sequence as indicated on the assembly instructions sheet.

- Check the product and make sure that all mechanisms are correctly functioning. In case of problems or malfunctioning, contact the Retail Store immediately.

- Finally, do not forget to check periodically that all screws are well tightened, when indicated on the assembly instructions.

You can find technical information on our website, just look for the technical sheet of the product you are interested in.

If you cannot find them, contact the closest Retail Store and explain what you need and what you are looking for: you will find knowledge, experience and all needed technical information.

1. Products with fabric covers with or without indication of stain-resistant treatment.

Please check the maintenance and cleaning instructions on the product label, very similar to the most common clothing labels.

Attention: in case your product has a non removable fabric cover, some cleaning methods indicated on the label may not be suitable (for example eash with water).
 

2. Cleaning instructions for products with fabric covers indicating NaturSphere® stain-resistant treatment.

- Fabric with NaturSphere® stain-resistant treatment will allow a successfull stain removal if you act quickly and correctly.

- In most cases, stain removal off your Calligaris products is safe and easy: quickly wash off the spill with some water or wipe the fabric with a damp cloth using rapid and gentle strokes.
 

4. Cleaning instructions for products with covers made of fabric and PU (Polyurethane) finish or PVC (vinyl chloride) spread.

- Remove dust regularly using a microfiber cloth.

- Products covered with coated fabric are highly resistant to water based and greasy stains.

- Covers in coated fabric will last longer if you clean them using just lukewarm water and mild soap.

- Strictly avoid using ethyl alcohol or detergents containing acetone, trichlorethylene, ammonia and other solvents, even in small quantities. Do not use abrasive substances.

- Do not rub, do not insist.

1. How to keep the beauty of leather or regenerated leather products unchanged.

The beauty of your products in genuine or regenerated leather will remain unchanged if you follow these instructions:

- Remove dust regularly using a clean, dry and soft cloth;

- Keep the product away from the heat (for example radiators or stoves);

- Keep the product away from direct sunlight or strong artificial lights;

- Products in regenerated leather should not be used outdoors or in areas close to open air, because this material must be kept dry and away from damp.

- Possible marks in leather, imperfections, grain variations, slightly different colour compared to the samples will not be considered as defects, but should be appreciated as characteristics of the natural genuine leather.

 

2. How to remove stains from genuine or regenerated leather products

- Act quickly, so as to avoid as much as possible that the stains penetrate.

- Do not use solvents or abrasive substances.

- For stains caused by substances soluble in water (soft drinks, coffee, wine, etc.) immediately remove the liquid from the surface using a dry cloth or absorbent paper.

- To remove the remaining stains, use specific detergents suitable for leather that you can buy in any shop and follow the indicated instructions.

Otherwise you can use a damp cloth and a solution made of cold water and a limited quantity of mild soap.

- Clean the stain working from the outside into the center, do not press hard or rub, then carefully dry the surface with a clean cloth or absorbent paper.

Repeat the treatment if necessary.

- To remove grease stains such as oil, chocolate, salad dressing, mayonnaise, snacks, cosmetics, etc.) you should follow these 2 steps:

a) use a spatula or a tea spoon to scrape off any excess, but avoid scrubbing the leather;

b) Gently and repeatedly blot the stain with absorbent paper or spread talcum powder working from the outside into the center, do not press hard on the stain, otherwise it will penetrate leather pores. Always use specific detergents suitable for leather that you can buy in any shop and follow the indicated instructions.

- To remove dried stains: gently rub the surface using a soft brush.

1. A few tips for wooden products maintainance.

- Avoid accidental impacts with hard objects.

- Make sure that veneered or lacquered wooden tops are protected by a tablecloth when in use.

- In case of accidental spills and/or stains on wooden tops, act quickly by blotting the surface with a clean dry cloth or absorbent paper.

- Do not place hot objects on veneered or lacquered wooden tops and do not use them as ironing boards.

- Keep the product away frm the heat.

- Make sure that veneered or lacquered wooden tops are exposed to an even amount of light over time, for example by periodically opening the extensions or by frequently moving objects such as vases or accessories.

- Make sure that the elements touching the floor are kept away from damp.

- AVoid any contact with chemical substances commonly used for floor cleaning.

 
2. Cleaning instructions for wooden products.

- Clean regularly your wooden products using a damp cloth with a solution made of water and a limited quantity of mild soap or use specific detergents for wood. Repeat the treatment if necessary and absorb any excess liquid with a dry cloth or absorbent paper after each cleaning operation.

- Do not use abrasive substances.

- In case of matt finishes, do not use wax-based detergents for wood, otherwise the surface will become glossy.

Cleaning instructions for plastic products (plastic chairs or plastic elements).

- Remove dust regularly using a microfiber cloth.

- Plastic products will last longer if you clean them using just lukewarm water and mild soap.

- Strictly avoid using ethyl alcohol or detergents containing acetone, trichlorethylene, ammonia, hydrocarbon substances and any other solvents, even in small quantities. Do not use all-purpose cleaners.

- Do not use abrasive substances.

- Remove all chairs when you mop the floor.

- Remember that plastic products will become worn looking with the time, it is a typical characteristic of the material.

1 Cleaning instructions for coated metal surfaces.

- Blot all stains with a cloth or absorbent paper.

- For periodically cleaning, use a damp sponge with water and a limited quantity of mild soap or use specific products. Then dry the surface with care.

- Do not use abrasive substances.

- Remove all chairs when you mop the floor.

 

2 Cleaning instructions for chromed metal surfaces..

- For periodically cleaning, use specific products for chromed surfaces. They can be easily found in any shop.

- Another good solution is using a slightly damp cloth with water and alcohol.

- Do not use abrasive substances.

- Remember that chromed products are not supposed to be used in salty areas.

- Remove all chairs when you mop the floor.

1. Care and user instructions for glass surfaces.

- Tempered glass surfaces offer a high level of safety; as a matter of fact, in case of breakage, the glass will crumble into small fragments.

- Try to prevent accidental breakages of tempered glass: do not place too hot or too cold objects on the surface and avoid impacts with hard and sharp objects.

- If the glass surface is cracked or chipped, have it replaced.

- Scratch prevention. Glass surfaces have a good, but not excellent scratch resistance. Therefore, do not drag objects across the surface, but carefully lift them, because ceramic, porcelain, crystal and metal (for example cutlery or tableware) are harder then glass.

- Make sure that glass tops are protected by a tablecloth when in use.

 

2. Cleaning instructions for glass tops.

- Clean regularly your glass surfaces using mild soap or specific glass cleaners that you can buy in any shop. Spread the detergent using a clean, dust-free cloth or a leather cloth.

- Do not use washing powders or any other abrasive substance because they will scratch the glass.

3. Care and user instructions for ceramic glass surfaces.

- Ceramic glass tops are highly resistant to everyday use and do not require any particular treatment or precautions.

Nevertheless, to prevent accidental breakages, avoid any impact with hard and sharp objects

 

4. Cleaning instructions for ceramic glass tops

- It is extremely easy to clean ceramic glass surfaces, the material is waterproof, doesn’t absorb liquids and it is completely hygienic.

- For regular cleaning, you can use any detergent suitable for ceramic surfaces or the soap you normally use in the kitchen.

If you need assistance on a product within the guarantee term, simply contact the Retail Store where you purchased it. It will be necessary to provide the following:

- purchase receipt (copy of the receipt, invoice, etc.),

- a clear explanation of the problem;

- a few pictures showing the product's conditions.

The Retail Store will then contact Calligaris to evaluate the case and offer the best possible solution.

The available spare parts for your product are indicated on the assembly instructions sheet that you received with the delivery. You can request the needed spare part at the Retail Store where you made the purchase; remember to provide the purchase date and the number of the delivery document. The Retail Store will then contact Calligaris to verify the spare part's availability and price. The supply can be free of charge or at charge, according to the type of problem and considering when was the product purchased (guarantee period).
