PINK PROJECT
2021
When design supports prevention.
In 2021, Calligaris chose to combine creativity and social responsibility through a project dedicated to breast cancer prevention.
A special collection created to support LILT’s Pink Ribbon campaign and spread a message of awareness.

For the 2021 Pink Project, the iconic Calligaris ceramic animals are dressed in new shades of pink.
Designed by Valerio Sommella, the hedgehog, sheep, and goose become the protagonists of a special edition dedicated to breast cancer prevention and awareness.

The collaboration with LILT was born from the desire to use the language of design to raise awareness of an important issue and promote a culture of prevention.
A project where aesthetics and social responsibility come together, transforming an everyday object into a concrete gesture of support.

From the world of furniture to industry magazines, the Pink Project has shared a new way of interpreting design: not only as an aesthetic element, but as a tool capable of generating value and awareness.
The Pink Project represents Calligaris’ ongoing commitment to promoting initiatives capable of creating value beyond the product. A journey made of design, people, and social responsibility.
